The Talbot Hotel Carlow is seeking a part-time Food and Beverage Assistant with bar experience to join our team on site in Carlow, Ireland. You will provide friendly and efficient service in the bar, handle beverages and food service, and contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

Previous experience is not required as full training is provided, and staff benefits include Leisure Club access and discounted rates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Arrive for work on time and in proper uniform.
• Keep the bar area clean at all times.
• Ensure accurate dispensing and serving of drinks and food.
• Be aware of menu items of the day and drink services.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere in the bar at all times.
• Deliver exceptional friendly service to every guest.
• Safeguard company money, goods and assets.
• Be familiar with licensing laws and excise requirements.
• Stock shelves to appropriate levels and rotate stock/glasware.
• Assist in clearing bottles, glasses, tables and washing.
