Job summary

Talbot Hotel Stillorgan in Ireland is seeking a Bar Supervisor to deliver friendly and efficient service within the hotel’s food and beverage areas.

You will ensure staff have knowledge of menus and beverages, take orders, coordinate with kitchen and bar, supervise on-duty staff, and maintain high standards of service and guest care. Weekend work is required, with opportunities for growth within a leading hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends.
• Professional and friendly work attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating of customers.
• Ensure staff have knowledge of menus, beverages and service standards and identify training needs.
• Take and relay food and beverage orders; ensure accuracy and timely service.
• Supervise on-duty staff and ensure duties are carried out per company procedures.
• Maintain high standards of service and attention to detail within the department.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and deliver exceptional service.
