Job summary

The Rose Hotel in Tralee is seeking an experienced Bar Person to join our evening team across two bar outlets, primarily serving drinks to guests to the high standards expected.

Responsibilities include mixing and serving beverages, handling payments, maintaining stock and cleanliness, and working well within a team. A minimum of 1 year of bar experience, good English, and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and upselling.
• Ensure guest bills are accurate and itemised.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.
• High standard of personal hygiene and professional conduct.
• Willingness to accept a flexible work schedule.
• At least 1 year experience as a bar person.

Responsibilities

Bar Person

We are seeking an experienced Bartender who will work well as part of our The Rose Hotel team.

This role is mainly to work the evening shift - both during the week and on weekends, serving our guests to the high standards expected. The successful candidate will be mainly serving drinks only.

What we are looking for:

• Someone that is fun, hard-working and reliable with a can-do attitude.

• Passionate about Customer Service

• Ability to work within a team.

• Excellent organisation and communication skills.

• Good level of English required.

• Must have the legal right to work in Ireland.

• Must be available to work flexible hours

• Flexibility within the 2 bar outlets in the hotel is required - both in the same facility

About the role

Responsibilities:

• Serving our guests to the high standards expected making sure their needs and expectations are met

• To communicate and cooperate with the team to assist in the smooth running of service

• Mix & serve beverages including alcoholic beverages and cocktails.

• Handle customer payment transactions

• Clean glasses and bar utensils as well as maintaining stock areas

• Must be able to prioritise and manage the time accordingly to the workload

• To be knowledgeable about the local area and facilities within the Hotel
