Job summary

The Moorings in Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic hospitality professional to join the team as a bar staff member. You will support F&B service, serve drinks, and contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have cocktail experience, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Accommodation is provided and candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Significant work experience in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service.
• A positive and proactive thinker.
• Must have authorisation to work in Ireland and start work immediately.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service; respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally.
• Maintain quality control for all drinks served.
• Excellent product knowledge to allow upselling and training.
• Project future needs & ordering for bar supplies and cleaning products; order accordingly.
• Maintain health and safety regulation standards.
• Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years experience.
• With food & beverage service knowledge and experience.
• Cocktail making experience.
• A positive & proactive attitude.

• Maintain high levels of service and standards.
• Ability to work calmly in a high paced environment.
• Ability to work on their own in quieter times.
• Flexibility in shift pattern.
• Knowledge of opening and closing procedures.
• Eligible to work in Ireland immediately.
