Job summary

Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny is seeking an experienced bartender to join our team in a busy hospitality setting. Previous bar experience is essential, and only applicants with such background will be considered.

You will prepare and serve a range of beverages and cocktails, upsell where possible, and deliver friendly, professional service across our three bar outlets. Fluent English and flexibility to work evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy bar environment is required.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced setting preferred.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a range of beverages and cocktails with excellent guest service.
• Know beverages, wine and cocktails; make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell to maximise sales revenue where possible.
• Work across the hotel’s three bar outlets as required.

Lyrath Estate Hotel, a luxurious 5-star hotel nestled on the outskirts of Kilkenny City is currently seeking an experienced bartender to join our team.

To be eligible for this role you must have experience working in a busy bar preferably in a Hospitality Setting,

Any applicants without previous bar experience will not be considered for this role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• To prepare and serve a range of different beverages & cocktails, while providing excellent service to our guests.
• Ensure a good knowledge of beverages, wine and cocktails & be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• To work in any of the hotels three bar outlets as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a busy bar environment is required
• Previous experience in a high volume and fast paced environment.
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland
• Must be over 18 years of age
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Must be fully flexible to work a range of shifts to include evenings and weekends
