Job summary

The Brehon Hotel & Spa in Killarney is seeking an experienced Bartender to join The Brehon Bar team. You will mix and serve cocktails, take orders, handle payments, and ensure the highest standards of guest service.

We value reliability, teamwork, and excellent English communication. Flexible hours and staff accommodation are available, with opportunities to grow within a vibrant hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a bartender in a busy bar environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work in a team and stay organised during peak times.
• Good level of English to engage with guests.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests to high standards in The Brehon Bar.
• Serve food to customers in The Brehon Bar.
• Understand the menu and make proper recommendations.
• Ensure guests' needs and expectations are met.
• Co-operate with kitchen team to maintain smooth service.
• Be knowledgeable about local area and hotel facilities.
• Mix and serve alcoholic beverages, including cocktails.
• Handle guest payments accurately.
• Clean glasses and bar utensils.
• Prioritise workload and manage time effectively.
• Deliver excellent customer service.

We are looking for an experienced Bartender who will work well as part of our team in The Brehon Bar!

Responsibilities

• Serving our guests to the high standards expected
• Serve food to customers in The Brehon Bar
• To have a clear understanding of the menu
• To ensure guests needs and expectations are met
• To communicate and co-operate with the kitchen team to assist in the smooth running of service
• To be knowledgeable about the local area and facilities within the Hotel
• Mix & serve alcoholic beverages including cocktails.
• Handle customer payment transactions
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Must be able to prioritise and manage the time accordingly to the workload.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
