Job summary

Supermacs Galway Plaza is seeking a Deli Baker to produce high-quality bakery goods to complement our fresh deli offerings. You will combine traditional baking with creativity in a fast-paced delicatessen setting, ensuring a consistent and appetising range available daily.

You will work closely with kitchen and deli teams, develop new recipes, and maintain HACCP standards while delivering excellent customer service and a supportive, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a bakery, café, or pastry kitchen.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of sweet and savoury items, including pastries, cakes, breads etc.
• Assist in the creation and development of new recipes and seasonal specials.
• Ensure all bakery products meet quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised work environment in line with HACCP and food safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with deli staff to meet customer demand and support food service operations.
• Manage stock rotation and assist in ordering baking supplies as required.

About the Role

As a Deli Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality bakery goods that complement our fresh food and deli offerings. This role combines traditional baking skills with the creativity and flexibility required in a dynamic delicatessen setting. You will work closely with the kitchen and deli teams to ensure a consistent, attractive, and appetising range of bakery items is available daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of sweet and savoury items, including pastries, cakes, breads etc.
• Assist in the creation and development of new recipes and seasonal specials.
