Job summary

The Citco Group Limited in Ireland is seeking an experienced professional to lead administration for a portfolio of private equity and real estate funds, managing data, client relationships and investor records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or business related area.
  • 7+ years of investor relations experience, preferably private equity or hedge funds.
  • Active interest in financial markets, hedge funds and private equity.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and related MS Office tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Administer services under administration agreements for a portfolio of private equity and real estate funds.
  • Lead and develop a small team of supervisors and admins.
  • Be the main point of contact for clients throughout the portfolio.
  • Maintain shareholders registers and act as transfer agent.
  • Process subscriptions, capital calls, distributions and transfers.
  • Communicate with investors and process payments and transactions.
  • Perform investor-related services for fund clients and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain and update investor records and assist auditors and advisers.

About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

Your Role:
  • Perform the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of private equity and real estate funds.
  • Lead and develop a small team of supervisors, senior and junior admins.
  • Point of contact for clients throughout your portfolio of work.
  • Maintain shareholders registers and act as transfer agent.
  • Processing and confirming subscriptions, capital calls, distributions and transfers.
  • Communicate with investors.
  • Process payments and other transactions.
  • Perform all of the investor related services of the Company’s investment fund clients.
  • Meet expectations of fund participants, adhering to deadlines, ensuring the rules and representations of the fund are adhered to.
  • Complete the daily maintenance of all data and records for the Investor Relations Group which entails, managing the filing system by ensuring transaction and investor records are filed and maintained efficiently and comprehensively.
  • Update Investor records on our transfer agency systems, and periodically performing database updates and management.
  • Assist auditors and other fund participants and advisers.
About You:
  • You have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business related area.
  • 7+ years of experience in an investor relations environment, preferably private equity and/or hedge funds.
  • Display an active interest in the financial markets, hedge fund and private equity industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
