Job summary

Carne Group in Ireland is seeking an Entry Level professional for Financial Reporting Oversight. The ideal candidate will have a professional qualification in accountancy, fluency in German, and prior experience in financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Prior Financial Reporting experience, particularly in reviewing Financial Statements.

Responsibilities

• Review interim and year-end Financial Statements for various structures including UCITS and AIF products.
• Engage with Administrators during the Financial Statements process.
• Participate in the preparation of Board Reporting through Carne’s technology platform.
• Contribute to internal and external reporting to meet regulatory requirements.
• Support in the development and maintenance of procedures.
• Maintain relationships with fund delegates including investment managers and administrators.
• Provide feedback to the internal IT Development Team for technology platform evolution.

Who are we looking for?

What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?

• A recognised professional or third‑level qualification, relevant to the role; a qualification in accountancy would be advantageous.
• Fluency in German required.
• Prior Financial Reporting experience – in particular, reviews of Financial Statements and knowledge of accounting standards and structures would be advantageous.
• Proficiency using MS Office.
• Some relevant industry experience in a funds service or funds management organization.

What is your role and your responsibilities?

• Review of interim and year‑end Financial Statements covering a range of structures including UCITS and AIF products across a number of jurisdictions.
• Engage with Administrators as part of the Financial Statements process and interact internally with each client Account Manager to ensure identified issues are addressed.
• Participate in the preparation of Board Reporting through Carne’s technology platform.
• Participate in the preparation of internal and external reporting to meet regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of procedures as part of the team’s processes when required.
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with each of the fund delegates including investment managers, and administrators, to ensure clear lines of communication.
• Adapt to new tasks and processes requiring support from the Team ensuring that they are implemented and continuously performed to the required standards.
• Provide regular feedback to the internal IT Development Team to ensure the on‑going evolution of Carne’s technology platform to meet the growing regulatory reporting requirements of our clients.
• Foster a positive team ethic and support the development and training of staff, when required.
