Job Details: Entry Level - Financial Reporting Oversight

What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
- A recognised professional or third‑level qualification, relevant to the role; a qualification in accountancy would be advantageous.
- Fluency in German required.
- Prior Financial Reporting experience – in particular, reviews of Financial Statements and knowledge of accounting standards and structures would be advantageous.
- Proficiency using MS Office.
- Some relevant industry experience in a funds service or funds management organization.
What is your role and your responsibilities?
- Review of interim and year‑end Financial Statements covering a range of structures including UCITS and AIF products across a number of jurisdictions.
- Engage with Administrators as part of the Financial Statements process and interact internally with each client Account Manager to ensure identified issues are addressed.
- Participate in the preparation of Board Reporting through Carne’s technology platform.
- Participate in the preparation of internal and external reporting to meet regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of procedures as part of the team’s processes when required.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with each of the fund delegates including investment managers, and administrators, to ensure clear lines of communication.
- Adapt to new tasks and processes requiring support from the Team ensuring that they are implemented and continuously performed to the required standards.
- Provide regular feedback to the internal IT Development Team to ensure the on‑going evolution of Carne’s technology platform to meet the growing regulatory reporting requirements of our clients.
- Foster a positive team ethic and support the development and training of staff, when required.
