Job summary

Steering Point is seeking an Associate Director to join its Head of Transaction Services in Ireland. The role focuses on analysing financial and operational data to drive deal decisions and advise clients throughout the deal lifecycle.

You will prepare high-calibre client reports, collaborate with tax, legal, and due diligence teams, and lead cross-functional projects while mentoring juniors and supporting business development through proposals and pitches.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Transaction Services experience at a large firm in the UK or Ireland.
• ACA/ACCA or CFA qualification.
• Strong leadership and project-management capabilities.
• Good financial modelling skills.

Responsibilities

Role:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, legal, and operational due diligence.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Support business development activities, including proposal writing and pitch presentations.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the preparation of valuation reports.
• Advise on sale and purchase mandates, MBO and MBI assignments.

Candidate profile:

• 6+ years of Transaction Services experience within a large firm in UK or Ireland
• ACA/ACCA or CFA
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
