This purpose of this Associate Business Analyst is:

The Associate Business Analyst plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives. Diagrams and evaluates existing processes whilst also organises, leads and facilitates cross‑functional project teams. Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Collect data to identify root cause of problems and measures performance against process requirements. Align improvement to performance shortfalls and provide consultation on the use of re‑engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. You may deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control. Whilst also complete surveys and analyses best practices for techniques and processes, communicating team progress. Perform cost and benefit analyses and be proficient in understanding how GEN AI has become a core skillset of a team, with familiarity in writing and managing processes that manage agentic development.

  • Uses a set of tasks and techniques to work as a liaison among and elicit the needs of stakeholders to define and validate solutions that meet business needs, goals, or objectives.
  • Builds and manages relationships with stakeholders based on an understanding of their influence and needs.
  • Analyses and synthesises information elicited from stakeholders, defines and manages the plan to deliver requirements, documents and manages requirements throughout the project life-cycle.
  • Develop and lead in agentic skill writing, interpreting skill requirements and translate them into clear instructions for agentic models to follow.
  • Provides input on feature/function to Product Management in developing the product roadmap.
  • Provides input to Product Marketing Manager on case studies and customer reference implementations.
  • Continuously develops domain knowledge, depth and breadth, in the payments industry, ACI products, customer base and applied technology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Elicit:
  • Obtains information from stakeholders
  • Uses tools (paper-based and automated) for gathering input
  • Uses Voice‑of‑Customer (VoC) techniques to uncover latent customer needs
  • Meets with Product Managers, Application Development representatives, customers and industry experts to discover product specifications
  • Reviews product documentation, industry or regulatory specifications and requirements database to discover product specifications
  • Conducts elicitation sessions
  • Conducts field research with clients and targeted users to gather data to determine user stories and functional/non‑functional specifications
  • Uses targeted and routine approaches for gathering input to user stories and functional/non‑functional specifications
  • Gathers business requirements from customer‑specific engagements
  • Validates requirements with stakeholders
Analyse:
  • Prioritises requirements
  • Organises and synthesises information
  • Uses various analysis and modelling techniques
  • Ensures requirements meet market and/or business needs
Manage:
  • Prepares requirements documentation
  • Present requirements in an understandable format

Requirements Planning:

Strategy and Product Planning:
  • Provides input in feature/function to the Product Manager in developing the product roadmap
  • Provides input to Product Marketing Manager on case studies and customer reference implementations
  • Continuously develops domain knowledge, depth and breadth, in the payments industry, ACI products, customer base and applied technology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to succeed in this role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years in an industry related role such as technical support, product management or product development with exposure to marketing, or comparable work experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in most aspects of business analysis.
  • Some knowledge of the payments industry, customer base and applied technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent skills in negotiating and collaborating to give guidance to the development organisation.
  • Creation of quality, easy to understand papers and presentations.
