Job summary

New Balance Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic Retail Associate Supervisor to engage, excite and educate customers from the moment they walk through the door. You will support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and lead a team to deliver exceptional service while driving store performance.

As a supervisor, you will analyse store performance, coach staff on NB products and technologies, and ensure adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze store performance and adjust to increase productivity and efficiency.

• Guide and train team members on products, NB technologies and seasonal lines.
• Assist in coordinating rota and scheduling.
• Minimise losses by monitoring procedures of loss prevention.
• Support recruitment, induction, training and development of the store team.
• Handle store duties on the shop floor and back of house, including stock control and customer service.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Analyses the performance of the store (for example, bestsellers, space allocation, etc.) and makes the necessary adjustments to increase productivity and efficiency
• Delivers total customer satisfaction via our service model and boosts sales through the customer experience, using advanced sales techniques to achieve results
• Understanding customer expectations and training your team to always reach or exceed their expectations
• Guides and provides training to all team members in relation to products, NB technologies and seasonal products
• Assists in co-ordinating rotaand scheduling
• Minimises losses implementing, monitoring, and tracking all procedures of loss prevention
• Supports the recruitment, induction, training, and development of the store team
• Key holder for the store andan active member on the shop floor and back of house carrying out retail duties - sales, customer service, stock control
• Dealing with enquiries and an escalation route for customer complaints
• Understanding and supporting store operations, policies and procedures via the retail game changer
• Adhere to company's policies and procedures
• Perform other duties that as required from the business or Store Manager

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

• Previous experience in retail desirable
