Job summary

Faithlegg is seeking a guest-focused waiter/waitress to deliver memorable dining experiences, welcome guests and seat them promptly, while actively promoting reservations.

You will operate the POS and property management systems, assist in training, maintain service quality, and help meet budgets. The role requires at least 2 years in a busy service environment and excellent communication with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy service environment.
• Outstanding ability delivering professional guest service.
• Well groomed and take pride in their appearance.
• Be confident and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Tend to guests promptly and professionally, ensuring they are welcomed and seated in a courteous and timely manner.
• Promote sales and actively engage with guests to encourage reservations.
• Operate the point of sale and property management systems, ensuring billing and returns procedures are adhered to.
• Assist the restaurant manager in hiring and training of all team members.
• Ensure a high quality of service is maintained at all times and that service runs efficiently on a consistent basis.
• Assist in creating and achieving team targets in line with the Company's goals and objectives
• Ensure that the restaurant operates within budget as set out by senior management

The role

The ideal candidate for this position;

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy service environment;

• Will have Exceptional Guest Care and excellent communication skills with the ambition to drive standards and performance in a busy environment;
• A passion for food presentation and service, and superb attention to detail while adhering to revenue, cost and margins.
