Job summary

The Fota Collection is seeking an Assistant Outlets Manager to lead multiple food & beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest service and seamless event support. You will manage staff across busy outlets and contribute to conference and banqueting offerings in a high-profile environment.

You will motivate teams, oversee training, and maintain service standards with a focus on wine knowledge and guest satisfaction, in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high profile hotel (4* or 5*).
• Dedication to improving the hotel's offering.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Passion for F&B service including wine.
• Ability to work under pressure in a flexible environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Extensive experience in F&B staff training, grooming and etiquette.
• 3rd level Hospitality Management preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all services across the outlets.
• Ensure all team members deliver and exceed guest expectations.
• Plan and deliver briefings with relevant staff.
• Provide accurate information to staff and guests on menu options.
• Assign stations to associates.
• Assist with onboarding of new associates.
• Assist with training of all associates.
• Ensure correct outlet service and shift handover.
• Liaise with other departments as required.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a high profile 4* Hotel or a 5* environment desirable
• A total dedication to improving the hotel's offering
• Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of and a passion for Food and Beverage service including wine.
• Ability to work under pressure while planning, executing and following up on the various tasks in a very flexible working environment
• Excellent Interpersonal skills
• Extensive experience in F&B staff training, knowledge and skills, grooming, customer service and service etiquette
• A 3rd level qualification in Hospitality Management is preferred but not essential
