Job summary

Top Oil is seeking an Assistant Manager for our service station in Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow. You will help the store operate efficiently and deliver excellent customer service and fresh food offerings in a clean, safe environment.

You will support recruitment, staff development, and day-to-day operations while working to meet targets for costs and sales. The role requires flexibility across days, evenings, weekends and nights at this busy site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years store management experience in Catering/Hospitality/Quick Service.
• Able to inspire, lead and motivate staff.
• Professional demeanour and customer-focused.
• Excellent organisational and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Management of recruitment & selection/training & development requirements for the store
• Support store manager in day to day operations to ensure smooth running
• Ensure the store operates safely at all times
• Ensure all staff are fully trained
• Build and maintain high sales and profits
• Investigate and respond to customer complaints
• Operate within the guidelines of the law at all times
• Meet set targets with regard to food costs, labour costs, customer counts and mystery shopper
• Ability to plan and prioritise
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and nights
• Complete ad hoc administration duties as required
