Job summary

easyHotel in Dublin is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to join our team. This full-time, permanent role focuses on hands-on operations, guest service, and leading the hotel team to deliver a warm welcome and a great night’s stay.

You will work closely with reception, maintenance, housekeeping, and central teams to optimise operations, support rota planning, and drive cost efficiencies while maintaining high standards. Previous hotel leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hotel operations and front-of-house teams.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work hands-on shifts in a busy hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support the Reception team, creating a positive and high-performing culture.
• Lead by example, working operational shifts and supporting the team during busy periods.
• Build awareness of the hotel and the easyHotel brand within the local community.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Technician to minimise out-of-order rooms.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping to ensure consistently clean, well-presented guest rooms.
• Set performance objectives, identify training needs, and support the development of team members.
• Assist the Hotel Manager with rota planning and day-to-day operational management.
• Drive cost efficiencies while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
• Work closely with central support teams to deliver hotel initiatives and achieve commercial objectives.
• Ensure the hotel operates efficiently while delivering a consistently great guest experience.
