Job summary

Mitchell Maguire in Ireland seeks an Area Sales Manager – Window Blinds to drive business growth and manage a Dublin-based ledger. You will sell a manufactured range of blinds and fabrics to blind manufacturers, with a strong account-management focus and a ledger of around €2.1m.

The role covers approximately 75 active accounts, typically three customers per day, four days on the road and one day for home/admin. A Tesla car or equivalent benefits may be offered.

Qualifications

• Field sales experience selling to business owners and decision makers.
• Open to interior product backgrounds such as blinds, flooring or fabrics.
• Ability to overcome price objections.
• Must be able to plan your own diary and manage accounts.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling a manufactured range of window blinds, components and fabric.
• Sell into blind manufacturers with a 95% account management focus.
• Responsible for circa 75 active spending accounts ranging from €20,000 up to €400,000.
• Approx. €2.1m ledger responsibility and growth in your territory.
• Inheriting an established area, this is a growth-driven, new role.
• Typically three customers per day, four days per week, one day from home/admin.

Based: Ideally Within one hour of Dublin

Remuneration: €45,000 - €50,000 basic €65,000-€70,000 OTE (comprised of 10-20% commission + quarterly and annual bonuses)

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Window Blinds will involve:

• Field sales position selling a manufactured range of window blinds, components and fabric
• Selling into blind manufacturers
• 95% account management role
• Responsible for circa 75 active spending accounts ranging from €20,000 up to €400,000
• Approx. €2.1m ledger responsibility
• Inheriting a well-established area, this is a new role only available due to company growth
• Typically three customers per day (some over teams), four days per week, one day working from home/ admin
• Majority of your work will be in the Dublin area

• Must have field sales experience selling to business owners and decision makers
• Open to many interior product backgrounds such as; flooring, carpets etc.
• Ability to overcome price objections
• Specific knowledge or blinds, shutters id not required
• Must be able to plan your own diary
• Account management capability/ relationships building skills
