Our client, a leading Irish manufacturer within the construction and building products sector, is currently recruiting a Showroom Sales Advisor for their showroom in Dublin 24.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Showroom Sales Advisor, Customer Service Advisor or Technical Sales professional who enjoys working directly with customers and has an interest or background in construction, building products, home improvements, windows and doors or technical products.

The successful candidate will meet customers visiting the showroom, understand their requirements and provide practical advice on a comprehensive range of windows and doors. You will help customers understand the different product options available, explain technical specifications and recommend solutions suited to their needs.

Full product training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable window and door products.
• Provide clear information on product features, options and technical specifications.
• Explain technical information in a straightforward and customer-friendly manner.
• Guide customers through the different products and solutions available.
• Respond to customer enquiries and deliver a high standard of customer service.
• Build strong product knowledge through comprehensive training.
• Take ownership of customer enquiries from initial discussion through to recommendation.
• Maintain a professional and well-presented showroom environment.
• Work effectively on your own initiative while supporting the wider team.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in showroom sales, customer service, technical sales, construction, building products, home improvements or a similar customer-facing environment would be an advantage.
• A qualification or background in construction, engineering, architectural technology, technical studies or a related discipline would be beneficial.
• Comfortable reading and understanding technical terminology and product specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional, approachable manner.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• An interest in developing technical knowledge of windows, doors and energy-efficient building products.

Working Hours:

• 35 hours per week.
• Five days per week, Monday to Saturday, with one weekday off.
• Working hours: 10:00am-5:30pm.
• Full product training provided.
• Immediate start available.
