Job summary

A Kerry-based architectural practice is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its small, collaborative team. You will manage detailed drawings, prepare working and construction drawings, planning applications and Fire Safety Certificates, with direct involvement in live projects and client interaction.

The role is full-time and office-based, requiring strong technical knowledge, proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar tools), and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Qualification in Architectural Technology or related discipline.
• Strong technical and construction knowledge.
• Extensive understanding of Irish building regulations and planning process.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full clean driver's licence preferred; 5 years of experience desirable.

An established architectural practice in Kerry is currently seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its growing team. The practice works across residential, commercial and planning projects throughout the Southwest region. This role would suit a motivated and detail-focused individual who is interested in working within a small collaborative practice environment with direct involvement in live projects and client interaction. As an Architectural Technologist will be responsible for managing detailed technical drawings, preparing working and construction drawings, preparing planning applications and Fire Safety Certificates. and ensuring accurate architectural documentation.

The Architectural Technologist's role will include:

• Planning application drawings and submissions
• Technical detailing and construction drawing packages
• Coordination with consultants and contractors
• Preparation of presentation material and client information
• Site visits and project administration

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification in Architectural Technology or related discipline
• Strong technical and construction knowledge
