Job summary

Beaumont Hospital is advertising for an experienced Grade VII Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function across affiliated sites. The role reports to the Financial Accountant and carries a Grade VII salary scale aligned with Government pay policy in Ireland.

The position requires 3+ years in high‑volume accounts, strong public sector knowledge, and leadership capabilities within a healthcare or large public hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-volume accounts environment.
• Strong knowledge of public sector financial regulations and procurement processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage workflow effectively.
• Relevant third-level qualification in business, finance, or accounting.
• Experience in healthcare, public sector, or large teaching hospital environment.
• Experience with Integra or SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable cycle, including invoices and payment runs.
• Ensure VAT and tax compliance and adherence to procurement guidelines.
• Lead and develop the AP team and manage workload.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Finance for approvals and goods receipting.
• Prepare AP reports and assist with month-end close.
