Gateway Credit Union in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, is seeking an AML/Regulatory Support Officer to join our team based at our HO. You will support the AMLCO/Compliance Officer and Risk Management Officer in implementing risk, compliance and AML/CTF regimes across the credit union.

The role spans policy maintenance, due diligence, transaction monitoring, reporting to the Board, and coordinating regulatory returns while ensuring regulatory requirements are met.

Formación

• Strong understanding of AML/CTF obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in administrative, AML, compliance or risk support roles is desirable.
• Good written and verbal communication with staff and regulators.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in maintaining AML/CTF policies and procedures in line with legislation and Central Bank requirements.
• Support day-to-day monitoring of transactions and customer due diligence processes.
• Prepare reports for the Board and coordinate regulatory returns and evidence gathering.
• Maintain audit-ready records and assist with risk assessments and risk register updates.
