Job summary

Morgan McKinley is delighted to partner with a leading Financial Services institution currently seeking an AML Manager for a permanent role based in West Ireland.

Reporting to the AML Compliance Officer & Deputy MLRO, the successful candidate will oversee the AML/CFT framework, ensuring alignment with Irish and EU legislation and supervisory expectations by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Qualifications

• AML and financial crime compliance experience in Irish/EU regulated banks.
• Professional designation such as ACAMS, ICA, or LCOI.
• Ability to satisfy Central Bank of Ireland Fitness & Probity standards.

Responsibilities

• Governance & Oversight: support senior management in AML/CFT framework.
• Risk Assessment & Framework Management: maintain the Business-Wide Risk Assessment.
• Policies & Procedures: develop AML/CTF policies covering CDD, EDD, PEPs, sanctions.
• Second-Line Monitoring: provide second-line oversight of onboarding and monitoring.
• Regulatory Engagement: act as key contact for Central Bank of Ireland supervisory engagements and remediation programmes.
