Job summary

LGT Fund Managers (Ireland) Limited in Dublin seeks an AML Manager to lead daily operational AML activities across investor onboarding, periodic reviews, screening and transaction monitoring. You will collaborate with the Luxembourg team to ensure consistent, high-quality service and oversee a growing team of ten professionals.

The role requires 8–10 years in fund administration and financial crime compliance, plus leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years' experience in fund administration, investor onboarding and financial crime compliance.
• Experience leading AML teams and managing escalations.
• Completed professional qualification (LCI, CAMS, or equivalent).
• Proven experience leading teams of 5+ people.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Regulatory audit or Central Bank experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operational Delivery: Ensure strong control environment across investor onboarding, periodic reviews, screening, transaction monitoring and other tasks.
• Leadership & Team Development: Manage and coach direct reports, build the leadership pipeline, and implement structured training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as a senior escalation point for team matters, maintain service levels and client satisfaction.
• Audits & Inspections: Support ad hoc and planned reviews by regulators, internal audit, compliance testing and ISAE 3402.
• Process Improvement: Identify and deliver improvements with regard to workflow design, technology and automation.
• Risk Management and Ownership: Manage and control risks within the AML unit and update AML procedures and documents.
• Education: Stay up to date with AML regulations and best practices.
• Governance: Prepare and present management information as required.
