Job summary

Mastercard in Ireland is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer (AI/ML) to own the end-to-end deployment, operationalization and continuous improvement of AI/ML solutions in production. You will work with AI engineers and product teams to define success metrics, implement MLOps best practices, strengthen monitoring, and ensure scalable, compliant deployments across platforms.

This role requires 8+ years in AI/ML operations with DevOps focus, strong scripting, containerization, cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML operations, MLOps, DevOps or related roles.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML lifecycle and deployment in production.
• Experience with cloud platforms and their AI/ML services.
• Proficiency in scripting and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for ML models and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
• Strong business acumen to translate needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment and operationalization of AI/ML models.
• Establish robust monitoring frameworks and resolve performance issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, AI Engineers and product teams on success metrics.
• Implement MLOps best practices and automation across the deployment lifecycle.
• Ensure deployments comply with governance, risk and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to incidents with root-cause analysis and preventative actions.
