Job summary

Mastercard in Ireland invites a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to own the end-to-end deployment and operation of AI/ML solutions. You will translate AI models from development to production, ensuring scalable, secure deployments and measurable business value.

This senior role requires 8+ years in AI/ML operations with strong cloud, container, and CI/CD skills; you will partner with AI engineers, product teams and governance functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• 8+ years in AI/ML operations, MLOps or DevOps in production.
• Understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle from data prep to monitoring.
• Experience with cloud platforms and AI services.
• Proficiency in scripting.
• Familiarity with containerization tech.
• Knowledge of ML CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring tools for AI/ML.
• Understanding data governance, quality and security for AI/ML.
• Strong business liaison and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment and operations of AI/ML models; ensure scalability and integration.
• Establish robust monitoring for AI solutions; detect drift and performance issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define success metrics and business value.
• Implement MLOps practices and automation across the deployment lifecycle.
• Coordinate with risk/compliance to meet governance and policy standards.
• Lead incident response and root cause analyses for AI deployments.
