Job summary

Mastercard seeks a Lead Site Reliability Engineer (AI/ML) to oversee the deployment, operationalization and continuous improvement of AI/ML solutions. You will translate models from development to production, ensuring reliability, scalability and measurable business impact.

You will lead end-to-end deployment, establish monitoring, drive automation, and collaborate with risk, governance and product teams to align AI initiatives with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, data science or a related field.
• 8+ years’ experience deploying and operating AI/ML solutions in production.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle and governance principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment and operation of AI/ML models and solutions.
• Establish robust monitoring and proactively address performance issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define success metrics and business value.
• Champion MLOps, automation, and scalable deployment workflows.
• Coordinate with risk/compliance to meet governance requirements.
• Respond to incidents with root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
