Job summary

AMAX in Ireland is seeking a Hardware Solutions Engineer to design and deploy high-performance AI/HPC infrastructure. You will craft scalable solutions for AI workloads, GPU clusters, and data center environments.

You will lead from pre-sales architecture through system integration and deployment, ensuring production-ready hardware platforms. This role requires close collaboration with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/EE.
• Hands-on with HPC clusters and AI/ML infrastructure.
• Strong server architecture knowledge (x86/ARM).
• Experience with InfiniBand/RDMA/NVLink.
• Familiarity with OEM server platforms and system integration.
• Proficient with Linux, Bash/Python.

Responsibilities

• Design HPC and AI/ML infrastructure solutions.
• Lead end-to-end solution lifecycle from pre-sales to deployment.
• Translate requirements into scalable system designs.
• Configure OEM servers, firmware tuning, and power/thermal considerations.
• Support cluster bring-up and performance optimization.
• Develop technical documentation and architecture guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
