Job summary

AMAX, an IT infrastructure and engineering company, is seeking a Hardware Solutions Engineer to bridge customer requirements with engineering execution for AI, HPC, and enterprise workloads. The role focuses on turning complex requirements into production-ready hardware platforms.

You will design HPC/AI infrastructure, lead solution lifecycles, and collaborate across sales, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure scalable, high-performance server appliances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with HPC clusters, AI/ML infrastructure, or GPU-accelerated systems.
• Strong knowledge of server architecture (x86/ARM), CPU/GPU platforms, memory, storage, and networking.
• Experience with high-speed interconnects (InfiniBand, RDMA, NVLink, high-performance Ethernet).
• Familiarity with OEM server platforms and system integration, including BIOS/BMC, firmware, and hardware validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement HPC and AI/ML infrastructure solutions, including GPU-accelerated clusters, high-speed storage, and low-latency networking.
• Lead end-to-end solution lifecycle from pre-sales architecture through validation and deployment.
• Collaborate with sales and customers to translate requirements into scalable AI/HPC system designs.
• Drive OEM server and appliance configuration, including BOM definition, firmware tuning, and manufacturability alignment.
• Coordinate with manufacturing for system-level validation, rack integration, burn-in, and production readiness.
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and POCs focused on AI workloads and HPC simulations.
• Support cluster bring-up and optimization, including OS provisioning and workload managers.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning across subsystems.
• Perform on-site or remote deployment support, including rack integration and acceptance testing.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and integration guides.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to resolve complex system-level issues.
• Stay current with evolving AI infrastructure and data center design.
