Job summary

Ingenio is seeking a Technical Director to lead complex digital engineering programmes across multiple teams, translating business problems into technical solutions for senior clients. This senior, client-facing role demands credibility with CIOs/CTOs and hands-on experience in software architecture, cloud and AI.

Reporting into delivery leadership, you will shape discovery, pre-sales and delivery, define team structures, timelines and approaches, and mentor engineering teams to ensure delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and architecting complex software solutions.
• Practical AI experience with real-world AI implementations.
• Experience leading multiple engineering teams and large-scale programmes.
• Strong client-facing skills with CIO/CTO engagement.
• Broad expertise across software engineering, architecture, cloud and modern practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into architecture, teams, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction and oversight of complex digital engineering programmes across multiple teams.
• Work directly with senior clients, understanding the business problem and translating it into the right technical solution, architecture and delivery approach.
• Shape solutions across discovery, pre-sales and delivery, including team structure, timelines and technical approach.
• Oversee technical execution, working closely with Tech Leads and engineering teams to ensure quality and keep delivery on track.
• Identify technical risks early, course-correct where needed and act as a trusted technical advisor to clients.
• Help shape modern solutions across software engineering, cloud, data and AI.
