Job summary

Personio seeks a Head of Product & Engineering Analytics to own the data strategy for Product & Tech and lead the next chapter of analytics. You will partner with Product & Engineering leadership, stay hands-on with data, and build AI-first, self-serve analytics at scale.

You will lead an analytics team, drive data-driven decisions, and shape a culture that makes data literacy a core capability across PTech.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics or data science with 3+ years leading a product analytics function.
• Hands-on AI/LLMs applied to analytics workflows and shipped.
• Strong technical skills: SQL, Python/R, dbt; BI tools Looker/Tableau.
• Experience with behavioral analytics platforms (Amplitude, Heap, Mixpanel).
• Strategic partner to senior Product & Engineering stakeholders.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead PTech analytics with AI-powered, agentic tooling and self-serve insights.
• Define and drive the data & analytics strategy for Product & Tech.
• Guide the product lifecycle data usage from discovery to post-launch impact measurement.
• Build and maintain metrics frameworks used by PTech teams.
• Partner with product leaders to ground strategy and roadmap in data.
• Foster a data-driven culture across PTech and raise data literacy.
• Build and mentor a high-caliber analytics team while staying hands-on.
