Job summary

Pipedrive is seeking a Principal AI/ML Scientist & Engineer to lead a growing team of Applied Scientists and AI/ML Engineers. You will define the technical strategy for AI/ML solutions that transform structured CRM data and unstructured content into real business value.

You will partner with the AI Platform team to enable efficient experimentation, robust deployment, and scalable AI systems, balancing deep scientific rigor with practical shipping of data products that customers love.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of applied science or engineering in high-scale production environments.
• Proven ability to lead and scale a technical team, mentoring senior talent.
• Hands-on experience with agentic system orchestration (LangGraph), RAG, and vector databases.
• Deep scientist by training, builder by choice, shipping usable AI solutions.
• Proven track record delivering customer value via AI/ML at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Applied Scientists and AI/ML Engineers.
• Define and drive technical strategy for AI/ML-based solutions.
• Design autonomous agentic workflows and real-time reasoning engines.
• Collaborate with AI Platform team for LLMOps and deployment.
• Ensure AI systems optimize customer centricity and performance.
• Set the bar for modern AI engineering and tooling.
• Grow the team through delegation and mentoring.
