Job summary

Personio is seeking a Software Engineer (d/f/m) for the Internal AI team to design, build, and maintain internal products and tools used across the company. You will own end-to-end architecture, implement complex agents and automations, and ensure reliability through monitoring and documentation.

This role blends strong software engineering with applied AI, requiring independent work, cloud experience, and the ability to ship production-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and shipping production software.
• Strong Python skills across APIs, services, and data integration.
• Experience deploying and running services in the cloud (AWS, Docker, CI/CD).

Responsibilities

• Build and ship internal products and tools end-to-end.
• Define architecture decisions and balance reliability, cost, and speed.
• Own systems across their full lifetime with monitoring and maintenance.
• Contribute to AI platform with agent orchestration and eval platform.
