Eden Recruitment Limited represents our client in Dublin seeking an Accountant on an 11-month contract. You will support statutory compliance, US GAAP reporting, and multiple EMEA entities.

The role involves preparation of statutory financial statements, audits coordination, tax and VAT returns, and leading process improvements including AI tooling to improve accuracy and efficiency. Collaboration across locations and teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years post-qualification experience in the preparation, review and finalisation of financial statements.
• Experience with US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAPs desirable.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP/financial reporting systems experience (e.g., Oracle Fusion GL).
• AI-curious and hands-on with AI in financial accounting or compliance, with concrete examples.

Responsabilités

• Support management of a portfolio of multiple EMEA entities from a local statutory compliance and US GAAP reporting point of view.
• Prepare Statutory Financial Statements.
• Assist with coordination of Statutory Audits.
• Support preparation of Corporation Tax and VAT returns.
• Oversee entity compliance completed by local and outsourced partners.
• Take ownership of defined projects requiring specialist technical knowledge.
• Support the design, testing and rollout of financial reporting systems, tools and processes.
• Lead process improvement and automation projects including AI tooling for statutory/compliance workflows.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI-based solutions to recurring accounting tasks and document outcomes.
