Job summary

The Compliance Vice President role at JPMSE Compliance in Ireland focuses on leading AI and data risk across the EMEA region. You will partner with local management, LOBs, and governance bodies to shape the compliance framework, navigate regulatory requirements, and drive risk-aware decision making.

You will provide expertise to stakeholders, oversee 1LOD programs, and contribute to risk mitigation strategies, while staying current with evolving data, AI, and privacy laws across Europe.

Qualifications

• Significant prior AI/Data risk/compliance experience.
• Proven ability to interpret EU AI Act in banking.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to design and deliver training on Data & AI obligations.
• Detail-oriented with focus on risk metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI/Data compliance program for European entities.
• Provide SME input to senior stakeholders on Data and AI risk and regulatory issues.
• Identify and raise concerns on business activities with global/regional teams.
• Oversee 1LOD AI and Data program and assess new initiatives.
• Develop and deliver training on Data & AI obligations to staff.
• Compile management information and identify trends in risk data.
• Represent the function in regulatory exams and internal audits.
• Maintain knowledge of current/future Data and AI regs in EMEA.
