Job summary

EXL is seeking a Vice President, Head of Responsible AI in Dublin to mature and govern responsible AI across the enterprise. You report to CIO and GC and drive ethically sound, legally compliant, and architecturally resilient AI initiatives while accelerating adoption.

The role blends technology leadership with regulatory and ethical oversight in a global, data-driven business. Flexible hybrid working in Ireland is available.

Qualifications

• 15+ years total experience in technical, legal, or risk leadership with AI scope.
• 5+ years dedicated to AI/ML governance, security or ethics.
• Hybrid expert able to discuss transformer architectures with engineers and liability with legal.
• Regulatory fluency with NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act.
• Operational depth in governance-as-a-service for global, regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership: define a 3-year maturity roadmap for Responsible & Secure AI.
• Lead AI Governance Committee for unified AI approval and deployment.
• Serve as Enterprise Voice on AI Trust for clients and regulators.
• Establish AI System of Record as the source of truth for AI assets.
• Oversee Secure AI Lifecycle and data sovereignty; embed security by design.
