Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Phygital AI R&D Center within Workforce Technology in Ireland. You will guide high-impact engineers to build scalable, real-time AI insights from sensor data and drive edge-to-cloud pipelines.

You will shape governance for responsible AI, data handling, and security while mentoring teams and delivering strategic roadmaps across IoT pilots and production deployments.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Hands-on full-stack proficiency: prototyping, code reviews, production triage; ~50% coding.
• Proven IoT solutions delivery with edge-to-cloud architectures and real-time analytics.

Responsibilities

• Drives end-to-end delivery of strategic roadmaps from IoT pilots to production-scale AI implementations.
• Bridges technical complexity to business value for cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Establishes and enforces data governance for IoT data streams using FAIR principles.
• Champions IoT innovation and AI/ML integration across edge-to-cloud ecosystems for real-time analytics.
• Sets direction for AI-enabled engineering with SDLC and governance to improve speed and quality.
• Applies SDLC tools and enterprise AI-assisted development to maximize automation and capacity unlock.
• Develops engineering talent through mentoring in IoT, edge-to-cloud, and AI deployment.
