Job summary

J.P. Morgan in Ireland is seeking a Technology and Cyber Risk Management Lead to develop and execute the Technology Compliance programme, ensuring regulatory compliance and resilience across regions.

You will partner with the Technology & Cyber CCOR team to lead risk assessments, policy translation, and stakeholder engagement while guiding adoption of innovative tech with strong data analytics.

Qualifications

• Expertise in architecture, design, and operation of complex systems in global financial markets.
• Strong analytical skills and growth mindset on innovative tech usage.
• Professional experience in risk management, compliance, or tech-related fields.
• Knowledge of tech and cyber regulatory expectations in high-risk jurisdictions.
• Experience with information security standards and modern development practices.
• Ability to anticipate risks and implement mitigating actions.
• Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using AI tools to support data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Advise Technology and business stakeholders on regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, EU AI Act, NIS2).
• Translate regulatory changes into actionable policies and procedures across regions.
• Build trusted relationships with CIB Technology and other stakeholders.
• Participate in technology change programs and external risk event analysis.
• Engage with regional conduct, compliance, and risk leads to drive firmwide initiatives.
• Oversee impact and gap assessments of new and emerging regulations.
• Review significant tech and security incidents with root cause analysis.
• Provide guidance on adoption of cloud, AI/ML, and quantum while mitigating risk.
• Use advanced data analytics to identify risks in critical systems.
