Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions directly inside enterprise environments. You’ll collaborate with a Deployment Strategist to co-create production-ready AI experiences for large, multi-account deployments.

You’ll contribute across configuration, customization, and full-stack deployment, delivering measurable business impact and mentorship from senior engineers. Global travel up to ~25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system to showcase.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Fluent in English plus Dutch or German.
• Experience with customer-facing technical delivery (consulting or professional services).
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• ,
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Keen understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Able to collaborate with sales teams and customer architects.

Responsibilities

• Develop agentic AI solutions and extensions that operate in production environments.
• Design agent intelligence including prompts, tool calls, and integration with customer systems.
• Own end-to-end technical components from architecture to production deployment.
• Build data pipelines across Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms; model and validate data.
• Create and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting to monitor deployment health and outcomes.
• Contribute to proofs-of-concept and MVPs that move quickly from sketch to deployable.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to share best practices and enablement.
• Surface platform gaps and provide actionable feedback to senior engineers and product teams.
• Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate customer challenges into shippable solutions.
