Job summary

Clarity Locums are currently recruiting for Registered General Nurses (RGNs) for agency work within Community Nursing settings with clients in the Clare area.

We offer flexible shifts, competitive rates from €35 per hour and €70 per hour on weekends/Bank Holidays, plus bonuses and benefits. Join our approved agency network with dedicated support and ongoing CPI training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in General Nursing with active NMBI registration.
• Minimum 6 months post-registration nursing experience.
• Community nursing experience is desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care in the community.
• Assess and monitor patients in homes and community settings.
• Carry out clinical observations and monitor conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Liaise with GPs and community health teams.

Duties

• Providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care within a community setting
• Assessing and monitoring patients in their own homes and community settings
• Carrying out clinical observations and monitoring patients' conditions
• Recognising and responding appropriately to changes in patients' clinical presentation
• Administering medications and treatments safely and effectively
• Supporting patients with ongoing healthcare needs and care plans
• Liaising with GPs, community healthcare teams and other healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in General Nursing and Active Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Minimum 6 months post-registration nursing experience
• Previous Community Nursing experience is desirable
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Experience recognising and responding to changes in patients' clinical condition
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a community setting
• Full driving licence and access to your own transport is desirable
