Job summary

Clarity Locums is recruiting Registered General Nurses for agency roles in the Limerick community. Shifts run 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with no night shifts and flexible agency work.

Benefits include bonuses, uniform, NMBI registration support, Garda vetting, and a dedicated consultant. Applicants should have an active NMBI registration and at least 6 months post-registration experience in community settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in General Nursing and active NMBI registration.
• Minimum 6 months post-registration nursing experience.
• Community nursing experience is desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full driving licence and access to transport desirable.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care within the community.
• Assess and monitor patients in their homes and community settings across Limerick.
• Carry out clinical observations and monitor patients’ conditions.
• Recognise and respond to changes in patients’ clinical presentation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively.
• Support patients with ongoing healthcare needs and individual care plans.
• Liaise with GPs and community healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Promote patient safety, dignity and independence.

Duties

• Providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care within the community

Requirements

• Experience recognising and responding to changes in patients’ clinical condition
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a community setting
• Full driving licence and access to your own transport is desirable
