Clarity Locums are recruiting Registered General Nurses (RGNs) for agency work within a respite centre in the Clare area. You will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care and monitor residents' health.

Duties

• Providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care within a respite centre setting
• Assessing and monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing
• Carrying out clinical observations and monitoring patients’ conditions
• Recognising and responding appropriately to changes in patients’ clinical presentation
• Administering medications and treatments safely and effectively
• Supporting residents with their daily care needs and individual care plans
• Promoting patient safety, dignity and independence
• Liaising with GPs, families, healthcare professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation
• Working effectively as part of the nursing and care team across day, evening and night shifts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in General Nursing and Active Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Minimum 6 months post-registration nursing experience
• Previous experience in a residential, respite, community or similar care setting is desirable
• Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills
• Experience recognising and responding to changes in patients’ clinical condition
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to work a mix of day, evening and night shifts
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• Registered with Clarity Locums (or willing to register)
