Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is seeking compassionate staff to supervise children before and after school and during holiday clubs. On-site at schools, you'll lead engaging activities, supervise free play, and support children with homework in a safe, inclusive environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience with school-aged children, basic knowledge of child development, and fluent English. Garda vetting is provided after interview, with two references required before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Garda vetting to be completed by Sherpa Kids after interview.
• At least 2 written references checks required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
