Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland offers Before School, After School, and Holiday Club programmes at schools, delivering fun, structured activities for primary school children. The role involves supervising children, supporting homework, and leading a mix of indoor and outdoor activities in a safe, inclusive environment.

You will need at least one year of experience with school-aged children, basic knowledge of child development, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned indoor and outdoor activities with the children each day.
• Show energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
