Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is recruiting for a part-time after-school program assistant to supervise and engage school-aged children at on-site clubs. You will support activities, help with homework, and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment across morning and afternoon sessions.

We value energy, enthusiasm, and a caring approach, with Garda vetting and reference checks provided as part of our recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
