Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking enthusiastic team members to support after-school and holiday club programs in local primary schools across Ireland. You will supervise children, assist with learning activities, and help with daily routines in a safe, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience with school-aged children, basic knowledge of child development, and strong English skills. Garda vetting and two written references are required before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities indoors and outdoors with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
