Job summary

Sherpa Kids is hiring in Ireland for after-school and related programmes at local schools. The role focuses on supervising children, supporting homework, and delivering engaging, structured activities in a safe environment.

Candidates should have experience with school-aged children, basic knowledge of child development, and English proficiency. Garda vetting and work permit/visa are required, with multiple references checks before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• Work Permit/ VISA essential.
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
