Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland provides Before School, After School, and Holiday Clubs on-site at schools, delivering structured and engaging activities for primary school children. We are seeking energetic part-time staff to supervise, assist with homework, and run indoor/outdoor activities across the afternoon sessions.

Join a mission-driven team focused on safe, inclusive care for families, with Garda vetting handled after interview and two written references required before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
