Job summary

Sherpa Kids is seeking caring staff in Ireland to supervise school-aged children during activities and free play, and to assist with homework and education tasks. The role emphasizes engaging daily activities, high energy, and creating a safe, inclusive environment for children.

Hours are from 07:45-09:00 and 13:40-18:00, Monday to Friday, with Garda vetting completed after interview and reference checks required before starting. Prior experience with children is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiencyin English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks arerequiredbefore starting

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assistwith homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assistwith games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
