Job summary

SAP Landscapes in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance team. This is a hands-on role for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills and experience processing supplier invoices.

You will work with Sage 200, manage reconciliations, payments and month-end tasks, and enjoy a salary of €35,000–€40,000 per year (DOE) plus benefits including a pension, bonus, Bike To Work, EAP and company events.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger (3–4 years).
• Sage or similar accounting system experience.
• Good Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process ~600 supplier invoices per month using Sage 200.
• Match, code and check invoices, purchase orders and credit notes.
• Manage supplier accounts, reconciliations and queries.
• Prepare payment runs and monitor outstanding balances.
• Support month-end reporting and maintain accurate records.
• Identify process improvements within the Finance team.

Position: Accounts Payable Administrator

Location: Maynooth, Co. Kildare

Reporting to: Accounts Manager

This job description outlines some of the duties and responsibilities that are associated with the role but it is by no means an exhaustive list and may be amended as the management of the company directs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing approximately 600 supplier invoices per month using Sage 200.
• Matching, coding and checking invoices, purchase orders and credit notes.
• Managing supplier accounts, reconciliations and queries.
• Preparing payment runs and monitoring outstanding balances.
• Supporting month-end reporting and ensuring accurate financial records.
• Identifying ways to improve processes and efficiency within the Finance team.

Requirements:

• 3–4 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger.
• Experience with Sage or a similar accounting system.
• Good Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
• An accounting or book keeping qualification would be an advantage.
